Mexico City and Copper Canyon

Program

Day 1:
Mexico City
Arrival at Mexico City International Airport and transfer to the Hampton Inn hotel or similar. Overnight.

Day 2:
Mexico City
Full day dedicated to visiting the city and the archaeological center of Teotihuacan. The visit of the "Zocalo" (the main square with the Cathedral and the National Palace), the Templo Mayor, the Basílica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of Mexico and Major pilgrimage center of Latin America are scheduled. At the end we will visit Teotihuacan with the imposing Pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Return to the hotel in the afternoon.

Day 3:
Mexico City - Chihuahua
Transfer to the airport and departure for Chihuahua. Arrival and transfer to the Quality Inn hotel or similar.

Day 4:
Chihuahua - Creel
Transfer to the train station to board the Chepe train at 06:00 hrs. with destination the village of Creel. Expected arrival at 11:30 hrs. Afternoon at leisure, we recommend a walk to the Arareco lake, the Misión de San Ignacio and the Cusarare waterfall. Overnight in the Best Western hotel or similar.

Day 5:
Creel - Barrancas
Breakfast at the hotel and free morning to rest, walk or visit the local Tarahumara handicraft shops, we recommend not to miss a visit to the Tarahumara Museum of Art. At 11:30 hrs we will resume the train to continue with our journey. The next stop will be the magnificent Copper Canyon Posada Barranca. In the afternoon we suggest a walk to the many panoramic places of the canyon. Overnight in the Mansion Tarahumara hotel or similar.

Day 6:
Barrancas - Los Mochis
After breakfast, in the morning it will be possible to carry out activities such as a horse ride, or a tour by minibus. At 12:55 we will leave with the train bound for Los Mochis. Arrival at 19:50 hrs. Transfer to the hotel Santa Anita or similar.

Day 7:
Los Mochis
This great adventure ends with the departure transfer to the airport for the return to Mexico City. Arrival and accommodation at the Hampton Inn hotel or similar. Overnight.

Day 8:
Mexico City
Transfer to the airport and end of services
